VANILLA FUDGE SINGS N’SYNC

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Not much has been heard from the late 1960s hard rock band Vanilla Fudge since their 1967 hit “You Keep Me Hanging On” – until now. The original members are reuniting for the first time in 30 years in order to cover songs by the Backstreet Boys and N’Sync. Drummer Carmine Appice says the group decided to redo the teeny bop tunes mainly to impress their own kids, but he’s pleased N’Sync’s Joey Fatone loves the Fudge’s rendition of N’Sync’s “Tearing Up My Heart.” Vanilla Fudge will start a national tour on August 19 and Carmine says the group hopes to release the new songs as soon as a record deal is signed.
