NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Tokyo has just been named the world’s most expensive city by a global business consulting firm. According to the William H. Mercer Company, Tokyo has the world’s highest cost of living, followed by Moscow; Hong Kong and Beijing. How expensive is Tokyo? Well, a two-bedroom apartment there rents for $5700 a month and two movie tickets cost more than $30. By comparison, the city of Blantyre, Malawi, is the world’s cheapest big city, followed by Bangalore, India.
