REMOTE CONTROLS HELPING TODDLERS WIN RACES?

FREMONT, Mich. (Wireless Flash) – Still not convinced kids are watching too much TV? Just head over to Fremont, Michigan, for the National Baby Food Festival which starts tomorrow. The festival’s big event is the “Baby Crawl,” where parents are encouraged to coax their kids any way they can. Some parents use toys or candy, but, in the last few years, the most popular method of coaxing has been dangling a TV remote in Junior’s face. A spokeswoman for the event says last year about a quarter of the parents were using the remote control trick as opposed to just one person a few years ago. The festival runs July 17 to 21.
