HEINZ TO SQUEEZE MORE COLOR INTO KETCHUP

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (Wireless Flash) – The Heinz food company says it will introduce a new colored ketchup sometime next month. The company says the color candidates are orange, pink, yellow and purple – but it won’t confirm the winning color until it’s released. However, insiders say all signs are pointing to purple. A Color Marketing Group color expert says Heinz will probably market the new ketchup to younger kids – and purple is a popular color for tots because of Barney. Another purple vote comes from Lynn Dornblaser, who reviews grocery store items for the Global New Products Database. She thinks the new ketchup will be purple because its a unisex color that won’t be confused with other condiments.
