EXTERMINATOR WANTS TO TAKE OVER ABC-TV

MIAMI, Fla. (Wireless Flash) – A Florida bug exterminator hopes to become the new president of the ABC television network through a friendly takeover. John Rosenrod owns just one share of stock in ABC’s parent company, the Disney corporation – but he says he’s so bugged by ABC’s programming that he wants his fellow shareholders to vote him in as the new president of the network. Rosenrod claims ABC’s programming has “gone down the toilet,” and he thinks he can do a better job running the network. The exterminator says he’s secured the names of thousands of Disney stockholders through public records and he plans to contact each one to make his pitch for presidency. A spokeswoman for Disney says it’s unlikely Mr. Rosenrod has tracked down all of Disney’s shareholders because not even Disney has direct access to the names of people who purchased shares through brokerage accounts.
