UNO TURNS TREINTA ANOS (30 YEARS OLD)

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – The classic card game “Uno” will celebrate it’s 30th birthday later this month. The game was created in 1971 by Merle Robbins, an Ohio barber who loved to play card games. He eventually sold the game to Mattel and, since then, more than 150 million decks have been sold world wide – including a special ’NSync version. Uno is going into middle age with a bang, as Mattel is planning a special celebrity tournament later this year.
