DALLAS (Wireless Flash) – A new poll is firing up the debate between barbecued burger lovers and grilled chicken fans this Independence Day. The new survey by TGI Fridays shows chicken rules the roost as the favorite BBQ food for Fourth of July, while burgers are a close runner-up. Other fired- up factoids... The average American eats one hamburger a week. 47 percent top their patties with ketchup, while 22 percent use mustard and 20 percent prefer mayonnaise. And 82 percent of burger eaters say recent outbreaks of foot and mouth disease haven’t affected the amount of burgers they eat.
