WEATHER-PREDICTING TOASTER UNVEILED

OXFORD, England (Wireless Flash) – In the near future, you may be able to get your daily weather forecast just by looking at your breakfast toast. A British design student has invented a weather-predicting toaster that he’s now trying to get marketed for consumer use. Inventor Robin Southgate says his so-called “Toasty” downloads weather reports from the internet and then stamps your toast with an icon conveying the weather outlook – either the sun, a cloud or streaks of rain. Southgate says he’s already had some interest from smaller companies, but he’s hopes a big toaster manufacturer like Hotpoint or Phillips will want to take on his invention.
