BAD WEATHER A BIG HEADACHE FOR MIGRAINE SUFFERERS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – A new study shows bad weather can be a big headache for migraine sufferers. The research from The New England Center for Headache shows weather conditions trigger headaches in more than half of migraine sufferers. In the study, researchers had patients keep a log of their headaches and then compared the records with local weather reports. They found the most common trigger is cold, dry weather, which affects 22 percent of migraine sufferers. The research is being presented at the Congress of the International Headache Society, which starts Friday in New York.
