DON CORNELIUS: ‘SOUL TRAIN CHANGED THE WAY WE DANCE’

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – Soul Train creator Don Cornelius has seen a lot of dance moves come and go in the show’s 30- year history, but his favorite is still breakdancing. The man behind the show that introduced the world to classic moves like “The Bump,” “The Robot,” and “The Centipede” says his absolute favorite is the head spin. Cornelius says Soul Train helped changed the way Americans dance by introducing all of America to regional dance favorites. Soul Train is celebrating its 30th anniversary this summer with a syndicated TV special Divas and Kings 2000 and Beyond – The Soul Train 30th Anniversary Special.
