ASTRONAUT FOOD NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC

HOUSTON (Wireless Flash) – Neil Armstrong’s giant leap for mankind may have wound up in the kitchen. A website called TheSpaceStore.com has just been cleared for take off as the world’s first web site to sell the same food eaten by NASA astronauts to the general public. Space fans can now chow down on homestyle foods like meatloaf, chicken fajitas and cherry blueberry cobbler – which all have a five-year shelf- life. Space Store founder Dayna Justiz says the space food tastes better than the dehydrated meals Russian astronauts are forced to eat – although you may need a salt shaker because NASA restricts the amount of sodium in astronaut food.
