COMPUTER NERDS FACE OFF IN SEARCH FOR ‘AMERICA’S FASTEST GEEK’

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Computer geeks will start slinging silicon in the hopes of becoming “America’s Fastest Geek.” About 40 computer nerds from all over the country are gathering in New York City today and tomorrow to compete to see who can slap together a working computer in the least amount of time. The geeks must use standard PC parts to assemble their finished computers. A spokeswoman says there’s no time limit but she expects the fastest time to be around 10 minutes. The grand prize geek will receive a top-of-the-line chrome PC from extremetech.com, which is sponsoring the contest.
