COMMUNICATION COLLAR DOESN’T THRILL ANIMAL ACTIVISTS

HARRISBURG, Ill. (Wireless Flash) – Animal rights groups don’t mind speaking for animals but they’re not willing to help when the animals want to speak for themselves. That’s the beef of a man from Harrisburg, Illinois, who’s developing an electronic collar which allows animals to converse with humans. Inventor Robert Wayne Hamilton says he still needs $10 million to get his “Dolittle Project” off the ground and he’s been pursuing funding from animal rights groups like PETA. So far, not one animal rights organization has expressed any interest in the collar communicator. Hamilton says he’s shocked because he figures big corporations would be more likely to stop animal testing if the request came straight from the horse’s mouth. Hamilton hopes flicks like Dr. Dolittle 2 and Cats And Dogs will increase interest in his new device.
