CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – Christina Aguilera may have hit No. 1 with “Lady Marmalade” but she’s still a few strands behind Britney Spears, when it comes to influencing hairstyles. According to Bonnie Krueger, editor of Sophisticated Hairstyle Guide magazine, Britney has inspired many American women to lighten their locks or get hair extensions. Krueger also claims Aguilera’s frizzy mop in the “Lady Marmalade” video is creating the biggest interest in crimped hair since the 1980s. Finally, although Faith Hill’s recent haircut initially got bad reviews, it’s become the celeb haircut most emulated by the average woman.
