BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Laura Bush may be Republican – but that doesn’t mean she can’t be democratic with her fashions. A Beverly Hills purse designer who’s a sworn Democrat is currently designing an evening bag for the First Lady. Timmy Woods is putting the finishing touches on the custom carved wooden purse, which is an exact replica of the White House. She says the bipartisan bag is a goodwill gesture toward Mrs. Bush because she has supported lesser-known American designers. In the designer’s words, “I really think she’s a nice lady and this is a good way to bring us together.” Woods will present the White House bag to the First Lady on Friday (Jun. 15).
