FED-UP FATHERS TO PROTEST STUPID FATHER’S DAY GIFTS

CENTURY CITY, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – Father’s Day is this Sunday (Jun. 17) and some dads are going to outrageous lengths to let their families know what kind of gifts they DON’T want. Tomorrow (Jun. 12), an advocacy group called Fathers Against Ties, Underwear And Socks will be protesting in Century City, California, wearing nothing but ties, underwear and argyle socks. About 30 P.O.’d poppas plan to show up, but co-founder Gerald Wolf says his group speaks for millions of fathers who are fed up with polka-dot ties, trout-covered boxers and ugly socks. The disgruntled dads admit the plan is drastic but Wolf hopes that walking around half-naked convinces their families to buy them electronic gadgets and tool sets instead.
