LARRY HARMON TO INTRODUCE ROBO-BOZO
NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) Although Bozo The Clowns TV show goes off the air August 26, dont expect him to stop clowning around. Larry Harmon, the brains behind Bozo, is getting ready to introduce a mechanical robot version of the clown next week in New York. The so-called Robo-Bozo is a life-sized version of the clown programmed to ride a bike, sing, and say trademark phrases like Thats a Bozo no-no and Whoa, Nellie. The computerized clown costs $6000 and is intended mainly for video arcades and pizza parlors. It will be offically introduced June 12 at the Licensing 2001 convention in New York.
