SAN ANTONIO, Texas (Wireless Flash) – A former cop from San Antonio, Texas, is looking for folks who want to turn their cars into electronic billboards. Jon Blanks has created a sort-of “car billboard” that resembles those electronic scrolling devices seen in bars. The device fits on a car dashboard and is powered by the cigarette lighter. The gadget holds up to 60 messages and costs $380 – but Blanks claims folks can make up to $6000 a year selling ad space to neighborhood businesses. You don’t even have to drive the car. Blanks says you can put it on a jalopy on blocks in the front yard and turn the eyesore into an advertisement.
