SEX TOY GIVEAWAY GETS THEATER AUDIENCE BUZZING

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Remember the 1959 movie The Tingler where vibrating buzzers were installed underneath some of the movie theater seats? Now comes word of a play in New York City with a similar gimmick – only this time buzzers of the “marital aid” kind are being used. Viewers attending the next four performances of the off-broadway show Cloud Nine are being treated to a giveaway in which one seat will feature a hidden vibrator. Organizers say they will announce the winning seat by switching on the vibrator via remote control and “buzzing” the winner. There are 83 seats in the Bank Street Theater, and a spokeswoman admits the random winner could be anyone – even a little old lady. The giveaway is being sponsored by the Toys In Babeland sex shop to tie-in with the play’s theme: the sexual repression of women.
