BOXERS’ DAUGHTERS IN HEAVYWEIGHT CATFIGHT

VERONA, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) – Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier may have been great boxers but they could take a few lessons from their daughters on “trash talking.” Ali’s daughter, Laila, will fight Frazier’s daughter, Jacquelyn Frazier-Lyde, on June 8 in Verona, New York – but according to TV Guide, the girls have already taken off their gloves. 23-year-old Laila says she thinks Jacquelyn is “ignorant” and “ugly” and claims “It’s not like this fool belongs in the same ring as me.” Meanwhile, Jacquelyn claims she’s looking forward to kicking Laila’s butt, knocking her out and then showing her “...some sisterly love.” Papa Joe Frazier isn’t surprised the Ali-Frazier rivalry has been passed on to future generations but admits he’s surprised that it’s the ladies, not the men, who are stepping into the ring.
