ROCK SINGER REMAKES ENTIRE PINK FLOYD CD

ENCINO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – First, film studios started remaking classic movies, now rock singers are remaking classic albums. Case in point: Primus front man Les Claypool is about to release a new CD that is a note-for-note remake of Pink Floyd’s 1977 recording, Animals. The concert was recorded in San Francisco last October but Claypool claims he’s been dreaming of playing the album on stage for years. Claypool’s CD, which will be released under the name Les Claypool And His Frog Brigade, will hit stores July 24.
