CELEBRITY FACES TO BE AUCTIONED OFF

CHICAGO (Wireless Flash) – A celebrity’s face is their meal ticket, but some faces are only worth about $100. At least that’s the opening bid for a collection of clay masks created and hand painted by celebrities which will be auctioned June 8 at Chicago’s Field Museum. One of the masks was created by John Travolta and features a starry sky with a jet plane flying across the cheek. Bill Cosby created a mask of a woman with big eyelashes and little red hearts below each eye, Other masks are on the simple side, like Roger Ebert’s, which is a plain white face with a thumbs up drawn over the left eye, and a mask by Colin Powell which just has his signature scribbled on the forehead.
