7-YEAR-OLD BOY HOPES TO GET DAD ON ‘SURVIVOR’

APALACHIN, N.Y. (Wireless Flash) – A 7-year-old boy from Apalachin, New York, hopes to give his dad a unique Father’s Day gift this year: Getting him cast on a future edition of Survivor. Little Ryan McManus has created a website called SurvivorDad.com which he hopes will get his pop on Survivor IV. Ryan figures that if at least one million people sign his website petition, CBS will be compelled to cast his father on the show. Ryan’s dad, Bill McManus, is a 38-year-old computer systems analyst who says he’s flattered that his son wants him to be a contestant but he admits dealing with Ryan’s obsession hasn’t been easy. Bill says he had a hard time convincing Ryan that you just can’t call up TV producers and tell them “My daddy really, really, really wants to be on your show.” So far, little Ryan’s website has only attracted 1018 votes.
