WRONG TURN SENDS BRITISH MOM ON MONTH-LONG ROAD TRIP

CHATHAM, England (Wireless Flash) – A day trip to France turned into a four-week, 5000-mile journey for a nervous rookie driver after she missed an exit. 40-year-old Vivienne Vanderwalt-Hudson says she was on her way to a ferry crossing when she took a wrong turn and wound up on a freeway heading to Spain. Then she just kept driving until she dead-ended at the rock of Gibraltar two weeks later. Vivienne admits she gets “very scared” while driving and spent most of the trip putting along at 30 miles per hour. Although she says her odyssey helped her become more comfortable with driving, she hasn’t been behind the wheel in more than two weeks. Vivienne’s next road trip will be a jaunt to Greece later this summer – unless she takes a wrong turn and winds up in Budapest.
