XFL’S NO. 1 FAN DEVASTATED BY X-TINCTION

MEMPHIS (Wireless Flash) – Although most folks don’t give a hoot about the end of the XFL, one Memphis woman is extremely sad. 24-year-old housewife April Divilbiss claims she’s the No. 1 fan of the XFL and says she’s devastated that the league has folded. She also regrets she never had a chance to buy season tickets to watch her hometown team, the Memphis Maniax. Divilbiss wasn’t even a football fan before the XFL but says she felt closer to the players than the prima donnas in the NFL. In fact, her prized possession is a cap autographed by all the Maniax’ coaches. The extremely loyal XFL fan says she now may have to watch the dreaded NFL in order to fill her football fix but she’s adjusting to the idea. April says since many of her favorite players are getting signed on to NFL teams, the games might be enjoyable after all.
