INTERNET CEO TO SELL MOTHER TO HIGHEST BIDDER

CANOGA PARK, Calif. (Wireless Flash) – A 63-year-old Massachusetts woman is about to get a cruel Mother’s Day gift: Her son is putting her up on the auction block. Charles Low, CEO of a website called surpluzz.com, says he will auction off his mother, Marilyn, on the company’s website. The person making the winning bid will receive twice-a-month phone calls from Marilyn asking mother-type questions such as “Are you getting enough to eat?” “Have you met anyone nice?” and “Why don’t you ever call?” Amazingly, Mama Marilyn isn’t offended by the auction but that’s because all the money will go to a children’s charity. As of press time, the top bid for Mrs. Low was just $30 – which she says won’t be enough because she’s “...high-maintenance.”
