SOCIAL CLUB HELPS DOT-COMMERS GET OUT MORE

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) – Shy computer addicts are thanking one San Francisco man for coming up with a new way to meet other computer enthusiasts. 29-year-old Evan Margolin is the brains behind DotCom Dance – a new social dance club for reclusive dot-com and computer workers. The group is for office workers who want to leave their cubicles to mingle and network with people of similar backgrounds while learning to dance salsa and swing. Margolin, a former dot-com employee himself, says he got the idea after he grudgingly went salsa dancing, but later loved it and realized he needed to reach out to other people like himself. The dot com dancing group has become so popular that it is spreading to other cities like Los Angeles, Seattle, Boston and New York.
