TEACHER WANTS RECOGNITION AS PRINCESS DI’S AUNT

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) – A California English teacher is feeling like a candle in the wind after Britain’s royal family has refused to recognize her as Princess Diana’s aunt. 57-year-old Anne Ukrainetz claims Princess Di’s grandfather, Lord Maurice Fermoy, was her real father and, as a result, she is Princess Di’s aunt. But the royal family is pooh-poohing the claim and refuses to recognize her as one of the family. Ukrainetz has even contacted Di’s brother, Charles Spencer, about the family connection but he hasn’t replied. Ukrainetz says she isn’t interested in royal riches, she simply wants to connect with her father’s side of the family and possibly attend a few royal functions. In addition, she thinks Di’s sons, William and Harry, could benefit from knowing her since, as she puts it, she’s “...very stable.”
