HILO, Hawaii (Wireless Flash) – It sounds fishy but a dolphin researcher in Hawaii claims dolphins get sore muscles and like massages. That’s according to Roberta Goodman, who has been telepathically communicating with Flipper’s friends since 1980. Goodman made her discovery a while back when she was swimming with a group of dolphins and casually wondered if they ever got tight muscles. Incredibly, the dolphins immediately demonstrated their massage technique: Basically pushing on each other with their fins and noses. Now Goodman hopes to use her knowledge for a higher “porpoise”: She’s just opened the Dolphin Bay School, a sort-of Berlitz school for folks who want to learn to communicate with the creatures as well.
