MUMMY MAKER HAS MUMMY MARKET WRAPPED UP

SALT LAKE CITY (Wireless Flash) – The new movie The Mummy 2 comes out tomorrow (May 4), but the world’s only mummy maker isn’t afraid the film will scare up any copy-cat businesses. Salt Lake City mummy maker Corky Ra says the mummy films haven’t created enough interest in the macabre practice to promote competition. Even if it did, Ra isn’t worried: He claims he owns a patent on a mummification process, and is the world’s only mummy maker in the world. So far, the 1400 people who have signed up to become a mummy did so because they saw his trade reported elsewhere, not because of Brendan Fraser movies. Ra says he’s sure the new film won’t generate new business for him because it’s just a, “new take on old movies.”
