LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – First, God blessed America. Now Janet Jackson is doing the same thing for America, the rock group. The singer’s latest CD, All For You, features a sample of America’s 1972 hit, “Ventura Highway,” and the song’s composer, Dewey Bunnell, says he’s thrilled. Bunnell is so happy with Jackson’s rendition of “Ventura Highway,” that he’s considering attending one of her concerts and he’s offering to play the song’s guitar chords live on stage.
