LONG HOURS IN MAKE-UP NO FUN FOR SHORT ACTOR

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) – There aren’t many big parts for a 4- foot-tall actor, but in Danny Woodburn case he’s loosing sleep over it. Woodburn – who played Kramer’s dwarf buddy “Mickey” on Seinfeld – now plays Karl the Gnome on the UPN series, Special Unit 2. Although the 37 year old says he enjoys the part, he admits that spending three hours in make-up each day is giving him strange nightmares. Woodburn says he’s so used to wearing prosthetics that he wakes up in the middle of the night clawing at his face and wondering where the rest of his face is. He also says he’s shocked how many Hollywood producers find somewhat perverted midgets amusing and want him to play characters who are attracted to underage girls. Special Unit 2 airs Wednesday nights.
