LONG HOURS IN MAKE-UP NO FUN FOR SHORT ACTOR
LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) There arent many big parts for a 4- foot-tall actor, but in Danny Woodburn case hes loosing sleep over it. Woodburn who played Kramers dwarf buddy Mickey on Seinfeld now plays Karl the Gnome on the UPN series, Special Unit 2. Although the 37 year old says he enjoys the part, he admits that spending three hours in make-up each day is giving him strange nightmares. Woodburn says hes so used to wearing prosthetics that he wakes up in the middle of the night clawing at his face and wondering where the rest of his face is. He also says hes shocked how many Hollywood producers find somewhat perverted midgets amusing and want him to play characters who are attracted to underage girls. Special Unit 2 airs Wednesday nights.
