OPA LOCKA, Fla. (Wireless Flash) – The energy crisis may make air travel too expensive but that doesn’t mean you can’t sit in one of those uncomfortable airplane seats. A company called Keystone Aviation in Opa Locka, Florida, is actually selling those notorious airplane seats to anyone who wants to set one up in their home. Amazingly, the company is charging as much as $1000 per airplane seat and most customers are either travel buffs or couch potatoes who install the seats in their living rooms. One person even bought a seat as a retirement gift for a man who is a frequent flyer. A grand may not seem a grand price to pay for an uncomfortable seat but a Keystone spokesman claims the company is selling at least one seat a week.
