PAUL REVERE ON CROSS-COUNTRY HARLEY RIDE

SEATTLE, Wash. (Wireless Flash) – 1960s-era musician Paul Revere is taking a lesson from his patriotic namesake and going on a cross-country ride – but on a Harley not a horse. Revere is riding a motorcycle across America to raise awareness about Vietnam veterans. The 63-year-old musician will spend four weeks on a specially-built Harley, and will kick off the trek this Sunday from Las Vegas. Revere says he will finish the ride in Washington D.C. where he will perform a Memorial Day benefit concert. The Harley hog sports a silver horse head and horsetail, and Revere says it’s the closest he’ll ever get to a real horse because they always “try to eat my hair.” Revere’s latest CD is Ride For The Wall and all proceeds will benefit veteran’s outreach programs.
