LAST MINUTE TAX FILERS PRIVY TO PLENTY OF PERKS

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) – Folks who wait until Monday to file their taxes may suffer plenty of stress – but they’ll also get some perks for their procrastination. That’s because everyone and their brother seems to be organizing free giveaways for last minute tax filers. Wrigley’s Gum plans on handing out pizza, coffee and samples of a new heartburn-fighting gum called “Surpass” to New York City tax filers. Then there’s the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association, which is organizing free puppy petting zoos at several post offices so tax filers can “de-stress.” And then there’s the post office in Cheyenne, Wyoming. It plans to hand out Payday candy bars to those who are getting refunds and Zero bars to those who owe Uncle Sam money.
