ROCK SINGER IS ALSO PART-TIME HEARSE DRIVER

RAHWAY, N.J. (Wireless Flash) -- All musicians worry their act will die on stage but a singer in New Jersey has a unique perspective: he lives above a funeral parlor. Musician Ron Haney, who performs with the pop-rock band, The Churchills, even drives the funeral parlor's hearse when he needs a few extra bucks. Haney insists he never uses the deathmobile to carry band equipment because he feels it would be tasteless. Although living above a mortuary has provided him with a fair share of ghostly encounters, Haney claims none were as scary as the time he drove the hearse to a funeral only to be recognized by a groupie attending the service. The Churchills's new CD is You Are Here.
