MINTY FRESH BREATH AND ORAL SEX DON'T MIX

SAN FRANCISCO (Wireless Flash) -- Eating an Altoids mint before giving your partner oral sex may spice up your love life but it could leave you with a bad taste in your mouth. That's according to San Francisco-based sexologist Isadora Alman, who says the sugar in Altoids can give the receiver a yeast infection. Although that news might leave mint eaters like Monica Lewinsky down in the mouth, Alman says there are other ways to pepper up your love life. For instance, instead of using Altoids, she suggests Dr. Bronner's liquid peppermint soap can have the same tingling effect without the risk of yeast infection -- but just don't eat the soap. Alman discusses other offbeat ways to pleasure your partner in her new sex manual, Doing It (Conari Press).
