`PEANUT MAN' TO TEACH PEOPLE HOW TO TOSS THEIR NUTS

TORRANCE, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- You've hear of the triple lutz in ice skating? Well, now there's the "triple nuts." That's the patented peanut move that peanut vendor Roger Owens will demonstrate at a peanut tossing contest in Costa Mesa, California, on February 10. Owens has been tossing his nuts at Los Angeles Dodgers games since 1958 and the 57-year-old peanut pusher's trademark move is throwing three bags of peanuts to three different people at the same time. Although he keeps his secret in the bag, he admits he gets the bags to separate by using his fingers, not the palm of the hand. It may sound nutty but Owens claims he's recognized wherever he goes. In fact, a flight attendant once asked him to toss mini bags of peanuts to her passengers while in flight.
