NEW CELL PHONE SHIELD REDUCES RADIATION

NEW YORK (Wireless Flash) -- Although the effects of cell phone radiation are inconclusive, a New York man hopes to ring up big bucks by selling cell phone shields. Lawrence Kessler claims his "Deflectowave Shield" -- which looks like a cross between a guitar pick and an earring -- deflects up to 60 percent of the radiation emitted by cell phones. The $20 device hooks on the back of a cell phone antenna and deflects radiation away from the body. Although some folks have tried attaching more than one Deflectowave on their phone, Kessler admits it won't reduce radiation -- it just screws up the reception.
