MEET `THE BABY WHISPERER'

LOS ANGELES (Wireless Flash) -- Remember that movie The Horse Whisperer, about a man who mysteriously communicated with horses? Well, now, a British-trained nurse is gaining a reputation as a real "Baby Whisperer." Tracy Hogg shares her tips in the upcoming book, Secrets of the Baby Whisperer (Ballantine) and says you can learn a lot about your baby's disposition just by looking at its body language. For example, a baby who plays with its fingers is bored and needs a change of scenery, while an infant who curls its tongue at the sides is trying to tell you he or she is hungry. When the tot moves its head side-to-side, that's a sign baby is tired, but moving the head to one side and craning the neck back means your baby is hungry. And finally, babies who curl their tongues up like lizards probably have gas.
