DOCTORS HANDWRITING GETS THUMBS-DOWN

TRUMBULL, Conn. (Wireless Flash) -- The writing is on the wall for doctors, because their handwriting is getting a major thumbs-down. According to a survey by the Pilot Pen Company, 88 percent of Americans describe their doctor's handwriting as "fair to poor." In addition, professional athletes are "write" up there when it comes to bad handwriting: 46 percent of Americans can't read their handwriting either. On the other hand, 62 percent say teachers have excellent handwriting and 18 percent say their clergy has nice script. By the way, tomorrow (Jan. 23) is National Handwriting Day.
