GHOSTS RESPONSIBLE FOR SAN DIEGO SCUBA DEATHS

SAN DIEGO (Wireless Flash) -- Two deaths at a popular scuba diving site in San Diego are being blamed on the spirits of dead sailors who haunt the area. In past few weeks, two women have mysteriously died while diving near the wreckage of a battleship which was intentionally sunk last summer to create an artificial reef. Spiritual medium Debra Campbell claims the ghosts of sailors who once manned the battleship still haunt the vessel and their paranormal activity is responsible for the two fatal accidents. She says spirits often manifest in the form of magnetic energy which can interfere with diving equipment, causing divers to drown. Campbell believes the two deaths will increase the amount of ghostly activity in the area -- which means future divers will have to be extra careful or they could fall prey to the same paranormal hazards.
