HAIRY SOLUTIONS FOR COMPULSIVE HAIR-PULLERS

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (Wireless Flash) -- A California woman has created a line of hair replacement products for folks who suffer from compulsive hair-pulling. Cheryn Salazar sells wigs, false eyelashes and eyebrow pencils designed specifically for people who have the hair- pulling syndrome known as "trichotillomania." Salazar herself suffers from the disorder and says she was driven to create the products because most of the false eyelashes out there look too fake when placed on a bald eyelid. Although many sufferers also pull their pubic hair out, Salazar doesn't sell wigs for that part of the anatomy. Instead, she has a homeopathic product that's supposed to suppress the need to pull out the short hairs.
