CAN DRUMMING CURE CANCER?

MEADVILLE, Pa. (Wireless Flash) -- Researchers in Pennsylvania are drumming up support for a theory that suggests drumming is good for your health. Researchers at the Meadville Medical Center's Mind-Body Wellness Center have just completed a study which shows a specific type of drumming can increase activity in human cells that fight cancer and viral illnesses. The drumming technique is known as "composite drumming" and includes several drumming styles, all done within a large group of people. However, don't expect doctors to start prescribing drum kits anytime soon. Chief researcher Dr. Barry Bittman says more studies need to be done on people already suffer from cancer to determine how effective the technique is.
