STOCKS AND BLONDES: AUSSIE BROTHEL TO GO PUBLIC

MELBOURNE, Australia (Wireless Flash) -- The world's oldest profession could soon be traded on Wall Street if the owners of an Australian bordello get their way. The Daily Planet brothel in Melbourne -- where prostitution is legal -- hopes to attract investors with a stock offering as soon as they get approval from the appropriate authorities. Currently, the bordello operates 18 rooms where clients pay $220 an hour for the services. The bordello's manager, Pat Lowry, says he thinks it's a great idea and calls the cathouse "...a fantastic business with plenty of room for development." The new stock plan would also allow the working girls to buy shares in their own brothel.
