MAN TO HOLD BIRTHDAY PARTY FOR 10-YEAR-OLD FROZEN TURKEY

TAMPA, Fla. (Wireless Flash) -- Talk about a bird-brained idea: A man in Tampa, Florida, is throwing a birthday party for a 10-year-old frozen turkey. Tomorrow (Dec. 2), 33-year-old Adam Yahre will host a formal shindig for "Tom," a 14-pound turkey he received in 1990 as a holiday gift. The bird has since sat in his freezer only to be removed on the first Saturday of each December when it's dressed in a special turkey tuxedo and becomes the guest of honor at a party. It may sound cuckoo but Yahre expects 75 people will attend Tom's tenth birthday at a Tampa hotel tomorrow night. He has no idea how much longer he'll keep the frozen bird, but he says he may have to toss it out before it turns 13 because his parents would be offended if he threw it a bar mitzvah.
