SUNSPOTS TO BLAME FOR FLORIDA VOTER UNREST?

WASHINGTON, D.C. (Wireless Flash) -- The on-going presidential protest in Florida may be linked to an increase in solar activity. That's according to political activist Carol Moore, who says research shows people are more likely to question the government and act out in protest during periods of high sunspot activity. Moore estimates the solar activity, which began late last year and is expected to continue until 2002, is responsible for stirring up two-to-three times as many political protesters as normal. She says sunspots may rev up folks by blasting the body with negative ions, which cause humans to become quick- tempered.
