CHALK CHAIN LETTER SPREADING AROUND THE GLOBE

CHALK CHAIN LETTER SPREADING AROUND THE GLOBE

JOLIET, Ill. (Wireless Flash) -- A group of grade-schoolers in Joliet, Illinois, has started a sort-of "chalk chain letter" that's spreading to sidewalks around the globe. Kids at the Thomas Jefferson Grade School have been writing the phrase "aspire, inspire" on every sidewalk they see and are encouraging folks who see it to do the same. Teacher Vicki Perella says she's received e-mail from folks as far away as Ecuador who have seen the phrase popping up on sidewalks in their hometowns. Perella's students have also come up with a dance move inspired by the phrase in which they point their index fingers up and say "aspire," then point them forward and say "inspire."
