KIDS DEMANDING LONGER RECESSES

NORWALK, Conn. (Wireless Flash) -- Forget about social security. American kids say there's a more pressing issue: short school recesses. According to a political poll by Pepperidge Farm goldfish crackers, 30 percent of kids say their No. 1 political concern is getting longer recesses and less homework. 15 percent are looking for mandated allowance increases and 7 percent want more holidays sprinkled throughout the year. However, 9 percent of the rugrat respondents are holding out for a president who will enact laws that will permit them to stay up past bedtime.
