HIGH TECH HELPS TRICK-OR-TREATERS BLACKLIST BAD CANDY HOUSES

SUWANEE, Ga. (Wireless Flash) -- The old Halloween practice of avoiding houses that hand out bad candy is getting a high- tech spin. According to a spokeswoman for Motorola, the use of two- way radios on Halloween is skyrocketing -- especially among trick-or-treaters who use the radios to warn friends about houses handing out yucky treats like raisins, toothbrushes or pennies. Motorola also claims the radios are being used as high- tech instruments of terror by folks who stick them inside scarecrows so the straw men will scream whenever trick or treaters pass by.
